HELPFUL INFO

WHAT ARE HEAT PRESS SERVICES: Heat press is the process of applying a design to material via heat & pressure. The machine has a heated and non-heated surface, the non-heated is where you place your item you want the design added, the heated is what's used to apply the design. The heated plate clamps down onto the material with the design, causing it to adhere or transfer over to the material of the product.

different TYPES OF APPLICATIONS: We offer 3 different types of heat press applications - vinyl, sublimation and dtf transfers (direct to film). Vinyl is where a machine is used to cutout the design from vinyl, then weeded out and applied to the material. This application can be used on a lot of different material. We can use standard single-color vinyl or printable vinyl. Sublimation is where the design is printed onto special paper, then using heat, the dye from the design is transferred from the paper onto the material. This application process can only be used on material specifically made for sublimation, but has a wide range of products it can be applied to. It's great for full color and detailed graphics.  A dtf transfer is where you print directly onto specialty film, using digital water-based inks and a powder adhesive coating, which requires curing. After curing, you can then heat press the transfer design directly onto your garment. It is also great for full color and detailed graphics.

TURNAROUND: Turnaround time completely depends on the item, quantity, application used and if blanks need to be ordered for the project. In general, turnaround times are on a per project basis, but typically 2 weeks when we are providing the items.

MINIMUMS: There aren't minimums for this service, bulk orders will get you a discount. Especially when ordering blanks, as it will help off-set shipping or qualify for free shipping.

PRICING: Heat press orders are priced based on which application process is being used, quantity, complexity of the design, size of design & number of locations.

SUBMITTING AN ORDER & QUOTES: In order to give you the most accurate quote, we will need to know the total quantity, sizes (if applicable), the item you would like the design added, if you are providing it or we are, placement/size of design and the art/logo file. Based on the design and desired product, we will determine the best application process.

Heat Press FILES: The files used for heat press services depends on the application being used. Typically, the best file format is vector. This allows us to resize the image without losing quality, and it will make it easy to separate layers (if applicable).

WHAT THEY ARE USED ON: One of the most popular items we use our heat press services on is apparel. All 3 application processes can be used, although options are limited for sublimation. Other products are drinkware, ornaments, full sublimation uniforms and jerseys, other types of jerseys/uniforms, different types of bags & totes, plus wood.

PRODUCT OPTIONS: We have a large selection of items to choose from, however, you are welcome to provide your own. If you have a link to where it was purchased, that will be a plus! This is required for apparel. We can use that to create a mock-up.

proper care

When washing any heat pressed item make sure to wash on cold, inside out. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Then dry on low heat. This will increase the longevity of your items. Also, do not iron directly on vinyl or dtf transferred graphics.
