WHAT IS SCREEN PRINTING: Screen printing is one of the more popular ways of applying a design to material, it's also more durable than heat applied graphics. It's typically used on higher quantity orders with limited colors, that are solid (no gradients or ombre). What exactly is it? It's the process of forcing ink through a mesh screen onto a surface. Making certain areas of the screen impervious to printing ink creates a stencil, which blocks the printing ink from passing through the screen. The ink that passes through forms the printed image. This it's a great option for applying full designs, as well as logos.
TURNAROUND: Turnaround is typically 2 weeks; from the time the apparel is received. Except during our busier times, this will increase to 3 weeks. We accept rush orders that need to be done the next day or before 5 days, in which a rush fee is applied. These orders are only accepted if production allows.
MINIMUMS: Screen printing has a minimum of (12) pieces with the same design. The design color doesn't have to be the same, nor do the sizes. However, only 1 set of screens are used. This the design will be the same size on all pieces. Separate orders are highly recommended for youth and adults, including baby and toddler sizes.
PRICING: There are a few contributing factors that affect pricing - quantity, number of colors used, number of locations, as well as sizing. The more you order the better the discount you will receive. Essentially, an order that contains 1 location and 1 color is going to cost the least amount. Lastly, there's general pricing up to 2XL, after that the price increases for those individual items.
SUBMITTING AN ORDER & QUOTES: In order to give you the most accurate quote, we will need to know the total quantity, sizes (if applicable), the item you need screen printed, if you are providing it or we are, placement/size of design, number of colors and the art/logo file.
SCREEN PRINTING FILES: Files for screen printing need to be vector, which allows the different colors to be separated out on different screens. As wells as making sure you are getting the best print possible. If you don't have a vector file, we can make one for you that you get to keep. If you want a design instead of a logo, and don't already have the design, we can make that for you as well. We offer graphic design services and will work with you to create a custom graphic.
WHAT CAN'T BE SCREEN PRINTED: When bringing in your own items, steer clear of ribbed material. We do not screen print on ribbed, due to the gaps in the fabric that create the ribbed texture. We also can't screen print graphics that contain shading, gradients or an ombre. For graphic placement, we avoid going over seams and zippers, as they can cause gaps in the print.
WHAT IT'S USED ON: We primarily use screen printing on hoodies, t-shirts, tanks, long-sleeves, caps & bags.
APPAREL & PRODUCT OPTIONS: We have a large selection of items to choose from, however, you are welcome to provide your own. If you do, we will need the link to find the stock photo for mock-ups. For products, we will chat with you to find the best option for your needs to better reach your target market and accomplish your goals.
